The second Wednesday in October is National Bring a Teddy Bear to School Day. At Catherine Cares, we celebrate this day every year by bringing our own teddy bears to work and school with us. We invite schools to participate! Incorporate this easy to implement program within your school community today!

Follow these 5 Easy Steps:
- Enroll in our Bring a Teddy Bear to School Day. Click here to share more information about your school and plans for the big day.
- Educate your school community on Catherine Cares’ Mission before the big day. Click here to learn more about Catherine Cares. Share this educational information with your school community.
- Encourage your students and families to participate by promoting your event. Make posters, share announcements, send email reminders to families, promote your event on your school’s website and social media account. Tag @CatherineCares on Facebook, Instagram, & X. Be creative and spread the word! Any size monetary donations to Catherine Cares are appreciated but not required.
- Open your giving campaign using your school’s personalized online giving page provided to you by Catherine Cares. You may share your school’s online giving page at any time leading up to the event. Schools can also collect cash or checks.
- Celebrate Bring a Teddy Bear to School on October 9, 2024! Students and staff bring their favorite teddy bear or other stuffed animal to school for the day. Donations are greatly appreciated!
