Members of the Catherine Cares organization delivered boxes of special stuffed animals on Monday to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital to help hospitalized children keep a connection to home.
A stuffed animal could offer comfort pediatric patients while they undergo treatment. At Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, a local nonprofit, Catherine Cares, made a special delivery to patients. See the story here.

Southeast Missouri State University Alumnus Wayne Turley II, co-founder of Catherine Cares, has turned personal tragedy into a service that helps families heal.
Catherine Cares provides Heartbeat Bears, as well as restaurant and fuel gift cards to families of babies who receive a life-threatening diagnosis. Our heartbeat bears were launched in February and were designed with the help of Build-A-Bear Workshop.
Catherine Care’s founders Wayne and Lauren Turley along with students from local elementary and middle schools delivered heartbeat bears to Cardinal Glennon and St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
